Southampton Women's Football Club are searching for a committed, enthusiastic and qualified ‘Strength & Conditioning Coach’ to join the senior setup.
The team currently ply their trade in the FA Women's National League Division One South West (Tier 4) with senior teams also in the Southern Region and Hampshire County leagues.
Found in 1970, SWFC are the longest serving women's team in Southampton and also the most successful.
The club maintains the highest of standards, with strong values, beliefs and a clear trajectory towards our goals.

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, deliver and evaluate gym and pitch-based physical development sessions specific to the needs of female footballers.
Assist with the monitoring and assessment of a player’s physical development.
Contribute to regular reviews of each player’s development and progress.
Provide written/verbal reports for coaches and effective feedback to players.
Work with an interdisciplinary approach, maintaining strong professional relationships with performance, medical and coaching staff to ensure the physical development requirements are optimised throughout the football curriculum.
Assist with the practical implementation of appropriate nutrition and hydration strategies for female footballers.
Contribute to the development of scientifically underpinned protocols for all aspects of strength & condition.
The successful candidate will be:

Able to work midweek and be available where possible for matchdays.
