Southampton Women's FC are delighted to welcome forward EJ May from Portsmouth.
May has spent most of playing career at the Blue side of Hampshire across two spells and came through their youth teams.
She made her first team debut in January 2018 coming on as a second-half substitute against Lewes.
Into total May has made 24 appearances and scored four times for the Blues before joining Southampton.
She links up with her former coach in Lee Hurrell who only had praise for the young attacker.
Hurrell said: "It’s great that EJ has chosen to join us, I think that her coming in gives us a different type of attacking option and should compliment the style of football that we’re trying to play.
"I know EJ well, as she played in the first ever game of women’s football that I coached back in 2013 and I had the pleasure of working with her for two seasons in Portsmouth’s development team.
"Not only is she a talented player but also a good character with a professional attitude, which means she will be a great fit for us."
May is available for selection in tonight's league fixture against Southampton FC where she could face a few of her old team mates.
