Southampton looking to bounce back from league cup heartbreak with an away trip in the league.
Last weekend Aaron Smith's side lost out by the narrowest of margins through a 91st minute goal to AFC Basildon in the National League cup.
The Essex side pegged Southampton back twice as they cancelled out Laura Vokes' brace before they found the lead and the eventual winner.
It was a game with a few turns in the tide that also saw a saved penalty for the reds when the scores were tied at 2-2 but it wasn't to be for the south coasters.
Now it's been a quick turn around for an away trip to Chesham United in the FA Women's National League South West, a game only pencilled in on Monday morning.
Heading into the game there isn't much between the two sides the form guide suggests as both teams have dropped points in the league.
Chesham have played two fewer games than Southampton but have lost twice to Totton based Southampton FC and Larkhall Athletic.
Gemma Fraser has scored 11 times this season for Chesham in just seven appearances in all competitions and will be one of the players to watch, she scored 33 goals last term.
Last time out Chesham won 4-0 in the Women's FA Cup away to Abingdon Town thanks to a Fraser brace and goals from Jaqueline Hanson and Rebecca Bloor.
There have been two previous meetings which came last season which Southampton edged out their opposition in both games.
The home leg Southampton won 2-1, Chelsea Hay bagging a brace while the reserve fixture saw the reds travel home again with the three points following a 3-2 victory.
A win for Chesham could see them move up the table while a win for Southampton keeps them at the top end of the table.
